Google Calendar Integration & User Data Disclosures

Our scheduling and administrative portal integrates with Google Calendar services via Google OAuth to synchronize client appointments and service bookings. We are committed to maintaining the privacy and security of all user data obtained through Google Workspace APIs.

1. Google User Data Accessed

When you connect your Google account to our application, we request access strictly to the following sensitive OAuth scope:

Through this scope, our application accesses raw and aggregated Google user data specifically limited to calendar event details, including event titles, start/end dates and times, event descriptions, and calendar availability status.

2. How We Use Google User Data

Google user data accessed by our system is used solely to provide and improve core scheduling features within our booking application. Specifically, we use this data to:

  • Sync scheduled plumbing service appointments directly to your Google Calendar.
  • Read calendar availability to prevent double-booking and scheduling conflicts for dispatchers and field technicians.
  • Update or modify existing service appointments created through our booking system.

We do not use Google user data for any secondary purposes, targeted advertising, credit assessment, or commercial monetization.

3. Data Sharing, Transfer, and Disclosure

We strictly enforce a policy against sharing your Google user data:

  • No Third-Party Sharing: We do not transfer, sell, disclose, or rent raw or aggregated Google user data to any third parties, data brokers, advertisers, or secondary services.
  • No AI/ML Model Training: Raw or derived user data obtained from Google Workspace APIs is never used to develop, improve, or train artificial intelligence (AI) or machine learning (ML) models.
  • Limited Use Compliance: The use and transfer of information received from Google APIs to any other app will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

4. Data Protection and Security

We employ robust industry-standard technical and organizational security measures to protect your Google user data against unauthorized access, disclosure, or destruction. OAuth access tokens are encrypted at rest using AES-256 encryption within secure databases and transmitted strictly over encrypted HTTPS/TLS connections. Access to operational systems is restricted strictly to authorized administrative personnel.

5. Data Retention and Deletion Practices

We retain Google user data and OAuth authentication tokens only for as long as your account remains active within our portal or as needed to provide you with active scheduling services.

  • Disconnecting Integration: You may revoke or disconnect our app's access to your Google account at any time via your Google Account Permissions Settings.
  • Data Purging upon Removal: Upon disconnect or written account deletion request, all stored OAuth access keys, refresh tokens, and synchronized event cache associated with your account are permanently deleted from our servers within 30 days.
